On date les parties les plus anciennes du château du XIIe siècle
.Différents seigneurs se sont succédés :
the oldest parts of the castle will date back to the twelfth

1140 : Hugues II de Berzé .fut Le premier seigneur de
Pierreclos, A cette époque, il habite le donjon à trois niveaux qui
protège l’église de style roman, édifiée sur cette colline a
l’emplacement d’une ancienne nécropole païenne, close
par un muret de pierre ou « petra clausa » qui donnera le
nom « Pierreclau », puis Pierreclos./
1140: Hugues II of Berzé was the first lord of Pierreclos, At that
time he lives in the three levels dungeon wich protect the church in the Romanesque style,
built on the hill at the place of an ancient pagan necropolis,
closed by a wall of stone "petra clausa" origin of the name "Pierreclau" then
Pierreclos.

Au début du XVe siècle, Louis de Savoie, le cède à Ymbaud de
Bletterens puis il passe par alliance
dans la famille De Rougemont qui le gardera durant six générations. Il fut attaqué et pillé a de
nombreuses occasions provoquant en particulier la destruction
de la nef de l’église. Différentes constructions et
restaurations (XVIe siècle) feront suite aux
conflits./
At the beginning of the fifteenth century it was gave in
to Ymbaud of Bletterens by Louis de
Savoie then it passes by marriage in
the family De Rougemont who kept it for six generations. He was
attacked and looted a number of occasions, wich will caused in
particular the destruction of the nave of the church. Various
construction and restorations (sixteenth century),had followed the
conflict.

1665, le château est vendu à la famille Michon, de Lyon qui le
conservera et l’embellira jusqu’à la Révolution
Française, on lui doit le grand portail d’entrée surmonté des
armoiries des Michon de Pierreclau …

La Révolution amène aussi son lot de troubles.

des habitants révoltés contre le seigneur prennent d’assaut
le château et provoquent de nombreux dégâts (bâtiments et église).

1793 : Le comte Jean Baptiste Michon de Pierreclau et sa
famille sont emprisonnés à Mâcon./1793:

les premières années du XIXe siècle, le domaine est habité par les
enfants de Jean Baptiste Michon :In

quand naitra son filsJean-Baptiste-Léon,
qui est en réalité le fils illégitime de son ami Alphonse de Lamartine devenu l’amant de Nina
lors de ses nombreuses visites au
château.
Antoine-Guillaume Michon: Married to Anne Josephine Dézoteux
Cormatin (Nina de Pierreclau).He lives

his son Jean-Baptiste-Léon , who is
actually the illegitimate son of his great friend Alphonse de Lamartine who became the
Nina's lover during his visits at the castle.
