Podzim? Tolik pestrych barev snad jinde neuvidite. V zime, kdyz mrzne, muzete obdivovat rampouchy a ledem obalene kameny v potucku. Sidonie emigrovala a v roce 1950 zemrela v Anglii. Teprve v roce 1999 se splnilo jeji prani a jeji ostatky byly pochovany v zameckem parku. Zajemce o podrobnosti k jejimu osudu bychom radi odkazali na velmi hezky zpracovany listing cache GC1PVDC Nadherne Vrchotovy Janovice.

Chateau park in Vrchotovy Janovice is a beautiful place during every weather and every season. In spring you can see snowdrops, snowflakes and other spring flowers and so long as the trees are leafless, you can almost overlook all the park. Later it is filled with the strong scent of azaleas that were planted by the baroness Sidonie Nadherna herself. In summer the park offers relaxation and a bit of cooling down in the shades of old trees, by a brook or a pond. Autumn? You may not find so many colours anywhere else. In winter, when it is freezing, you can admire icicles and ice-covered stones in the brook. The park looks a bit sad and inspires thoughts of the difficult fate of the baroness Sidonie Nadherna. She had to look during World War Two on wehrmacht destroying her property (there was a branch of concentracion camp Flossenburg), after the war it was Czech and Russian soldiers destroying it (the chateau was expropriated by communists). Sidonie emigrated and died in 1950 in England. Only in 1999 her wish was fulfilled and her relics were burried in the chatteau park.

The only way to the cache starts at the chateau park gate - the whole park is fenced and other acces is not allowed. Please act with respect to the nature. You do not have to decompose anything to get the cache, it should stay slightly visible to a cachers eye. You may take some goodie for ducks (or fish, should the ducks be full). We would also like to ask you to trade fair in quantity and value(trade up - trade equal or do not trade).
