Cabo San Tofte Traditional Cache

Makuta Teridax: Hei, nor_we_guys!

Geocache Description:

A cache located along the coast trail on Østnestangen

Although Østnestangen is not the most southern point on the Hurum
peninsula, being out there makes you actually feel that you can’t get
much further. It is situated along one of the rougher, yet most beautiful
and wildest parts of the coast trail (kyststi) around Hurum.

The site is a good spot for fishing, finding the early spring, sunbathing,
and swimming or camping in nearby Sandbukta.

The cache is called “Cabo San Tofte” as a playful correlation to the
southernmost town on the Baja California Peninsula. The Baja California
peninsula is a hidden joy for those living to the north, great beaches,
rough mountain areas, and rich with history. Risking offending those
from this area, I dare to personally call the Hurum peninsula, Baja Asker,
good beaches (although somewhat different those around La Paz), rough
granitic mountain areas…and rich with history….ready to be explored by
those daring to travel south into its wilds

The cache should be easy to find, and is filled with small trading items
and a log book.

Enjoy!
