Emen is a small village less than 20 km away from Veliko Tarnovo. Easiest way to reach it is to exit the main road at the junction with Balvan village about 12km before you reach Veliko Tarnovo travelling from Sofia.
Next to the village you will be surprised to find an impressive canyon. Even if it is only 3 km long, it still is remarkable.
An eco trail will take you all along through the canyon and your journey will end at a beautiful waterfall and an excellent picnic location. Take your time there. It will not be hard for you to know what paradise is like.
The cache is a plastic box with a blue cover. Your journey at the eco trail will start at a big cave (not needed to go through the cave). Just a few minutes after you passed the cave walking on the eco trail you will arrive at the cache location.
Only 400 meters after you exit Emen you will see signs directing you towards the cave and the eco trail. You could leave your car on the main road or you can go another 200 meters with your car and leave it at the cave entrance.
