Please leave the stamp in the cache. It is not a trade item! I hope
you will enjoy it, as I carved it myself. Good luck.

Start your hike on the Portage where the Golden Flashes play their games. You will be heading West, and please be careful crossing the first street.
Along you go on the Portage, you will cross the 261 by way of a pretty blue bridge.
Next you will come again to a road, and please look both ways before you cross.
The Portage will continue West. At the 'cross-path' into a pine wood, West is where you should go too.
If you brought your GPSr you will see a way-point I made to show you into the woods, be on the look out for a 'foot path' post. I hope you are prepared, as it might be muddy back here in the spring or after a rain.
Through the pine wood you will go, you may just see the cardinal bird. Continue on through the clearing where my cardinal cache was to be and you will know you are close.
Further back you must go, like my cache did to be far enough away from the others along this path, out of the clearing.
Now to your Right you will see a group of pines. Pass on thru and a mini-ridge you will see.
Turn to the East, and do not cross the ridge, the cache is close. Just a little further back and a Rock you will see. This is where the cache used to be, but now a better spot you must see.
Just a little further East you will go into the woods. Now you must look for a place a cardinal would be. An UPS you will see and the 'Cardinal on the Portage 2' is now yours!
Now if you will, please place the sticks back to keep the muggles away
PS. The listed coordinates are for the cache.
For the FTF I have also hand crafted another of my FTF prize #1 metal pieces. For the next eight finders, I have also made up a special set of my signature items. Grab one and start your collection.
The cache will also have a camera in it, I would love to see your photos from the cache. Thank you for visiting my letterbox cache.
