[SWE] Kista Science Tower är ett byggnadskomplex i Kista
i nordvästra Stockholm. Komplexet består av sex byggnader med olika
höjd och fasadbeklädnad, varav den högsta är 117,2 meter hög (eller
156 meter om man räknar till antennen) och består av 32 våningar.
Kista Science Tower är därmed Sveriges och även Nordens högsta
kontorsfastighet, samt Sveriges näst högsta skyskrapa (efter
Turning Torso i Malmö). Förutom en kontorsyta på ca. 39 000 m²,
rymmer komplexet bland annat restauranger, garage, fitnesscenter
och affärslokaler. Utmärkande för alla byggnaderna är dess
triangulära form och dubbelglasade, genomskinliga fasad.
Kista Science Tower är ritat av White arkitekter som vann en
tävling om att få rita byggnaden 1998. Bygget påbörjades sommaren
2000 och stod färdigt i slutet av 2002. Bakom uppförandet stod NCC.
Sedan augusti 2004 är fastighetsbolaget Vasakronan helägare.
Kista Science Tower har även Sveriges snabbaste hissar med en
hastighet av 5-6 m/s.

Man når cachen enkelt med hjälp av buss till Ärvingevägen eller
T-bana till Kista. Passa gärna på att shoppa i Kista Galleria med
mycket generösa öppettider. Det finns också gott om
parkeringsplatser till varierande kostnad, de närmaste blott några
meter från cachen.

tallest building in Sweden, at a height of 117.2 m (156 m counting
the antenna on the roof). The black cube on top of the roof is,
contrary to some rumors, not meant to be the start of more floors;
it is the top of the elevator shaft and space for the electronics
for the antenna. The tower has 33 floors in total, three of which
are below the main entrance level (mainly parking spaces).
Kista Science Tower was completed in 2003. It was the tallest
skyscraper in Scandinavia at the time but was soon surpassed by
Turning Torso, built in Malmö in 2004. It is still the tallest
office building in Scandinavia.
The building is home to the fastest elevators in Sweden. They reach
speeds of 5-6 m/s.
The building houses several technology and IT companies. It is next
door to a large shopping complex and the metro station.

You can reach the cache by bus or train to ”Kista”
there you can spend some money in the shopping mall ”Kista
Galleria” before or after visiting the cache. There are also
several parking places to different fees, some only a few meters
from the cache.
