Steinfort has an intersting steel forge history. You
can read (in Luxembourgish) part of the history here. The cache is hidden on a symbolic
monument of that ancient time. Beside the cache you can look
downwards to see the rests of the old steel industry. These
buildings were restaurated and are housing the technical service of
the local town administration.

After you have found the cache at this beautiful location, you
can sit down at the pétanque field and watch the volunteer "uniformed
muggles" of the "Centre d'Intervention de Steinfort" on the other side
of the street doing their fire-fighting or paramedic job.

symbolisant cet ancien temps. A côté du cache vous pouvez voir en
bas les restes de cette ancienne sidérurgie. Les bâtiments restants
ont étés restaurés et hébergent le service technique de
l'Administration Communale de Steinfort.

Après avoir trouvé le cache, vous pouvez vous relaxer sur le
champ de pétanque et observer les "muggles uniformés"
bénévoles du "Centre
d'Intervention de Steinfort" faisant leur travail de pompier ou
ambulancier.

Geschichte. Sie können einen Teil dieser Geschichte (in
Luxemburgisch) hiernachlesen. Der Cache ist bei einem Monument
versteckt das an diese alte Zeit errinern lässt. Neben diesem Cache
können Sie unten die Reste der Stahlindustrie sehen. Die Gebäude
die noch standen wurden restauriert und beherbergen heute den
teschnichen Dienst der Steinforter Gemeindeverwaltung.

Nachdem Sie den Cache gefunden haben können sie sich ein bischen
auf dem pétanque Feld entspannen. Sie können dabei den
freiwilligen "uniformierten Muggles" des "Centre d'Intervention de
Steinfort" beim verrichten ihrer Arbeit bei der Feuerwehr oder
dem Rettungsdienst zusehen.
