Slepnis ir liela izmera kaste- vairak ka 20 l, kas satur
iekšejo konteineru. Bus nepieciešams kaut kas
rakšanai, lai atrastu šo slepni. Cache is large size
box- more than 20 l that holds inner container. You need something
to dig to get this cache.

Slepnis ir novietots dabas lieguma „Garkalnes
meži” teritorija dienvidu dala, kas padomju gados tikusi
izmantota militaram vajadzibam – Padomju armijas municijas
glabatuve. No baze esošajiem objektiem nesagruvuši ir
palikuši vairs tikai daži, tacu pa celam uz slepni jus
noteikti pamanisiet armijas bazei raksturigos aizsargvalnus.
Raksturojot bijušo militaro bazi, butiski uzvert, ka ta ir
salidzinoši atklata teritorija 162 hektaru platiba.
Ši teritorija ir stipri neviendabiga. Taja raksturigi
izkliedes izvietoti mazi meža puduriši un
atseviški veci koki (domine priedes), kas paši par
sevi kalpo ka butiskas melnas dzilnas un citu tas dobumos
ligzdojošo putnu sugu ligzdošanas vietas. Teritorija
ir ari daudz pamestu, agrak militaram vajadzibam lietotu eku un to
gruvešu. Viena no šadu eku paneliem konstatets
ligzdojam ari zalas varnas paris. Tapat šos objektus ka
ligzdošanas vietu nereti izmanto pupuki. Pati atklata
teritorija ir smilšaina ar nabadzigu augaju.
Ta ka slepnis atrodas ipaši aizsargajama dabas
teritorija, busim saudzigi pret dabu un atstasim savus motorizetos
transporta lidzeklus šeit: N 57° 02.150 E 024° 26.750. Ja
tomer nolemjat but slinki un piebraukt ar mašinu, tad dariet
to no dienvidiem vai ari apbrauciet aizsargajamo teritoriju pa
kvartalstigam. Pieverst uzmanibu atributiem! Garkalnes armijas
bazes slepnus ieteicams nemt ar velosipedu vai ar kajam.
ENG Cache is hidden South territory of nature reserve
“Garkalnes meži”. In Soviet times this territory
was used for military purposes – there were armory and ammo
warehouses. Most of buildings in territory are collapsed and
abandoned. The territory area reaches 162 ha and mostly is covered
with small trees clumps mostly pine-tree. In several of collapsed
building fundamentals are discovered protected bird species like
roller.
As the cache is hidden in strictly defended nature reserve it is
forbidden to enter the reserve with motorized vehicles. Please see
for additional waypoints for parking. Pay attention on cache
attributes!!! Please hike or use bicycle to reach Garkalne army
