Radio Drive and Bailey Road Roundabout
A modern roundabout is an unsignalized circular intersection used to maximize safety, minimize traffic delay, and provide aesthetic benefits. Radio Drive and Bailey Road is one of Woodbury's busiest intersections. About 11,000 drivers navigate this two-lane roundabout every day. Motorists are becoming acquainted with a traffic control device now commonplace in many states but somewhat new to Washington County residents. Two pedestrian tunnels beneath the roundabout connect with trails -- linking neighborhoods with the Bielenberg Sports Complex to the south and eventually East Ridge High School, which is under construction nearby. Five rain gardens around the roundabout will collect stormwater runoff. This cache is a micro. There is a lot of traffic in this area. Please be discreet and place the container back just as you found it. Bring your own Pen.
