Trailhead (waypoint listed below) is right off the paved trail through the park. Remember, the most direct route is not always the best route! Bushwhacking is neither recommended, nor is it necessary. Follow the powerline trail. When you start up the trail you are not that tired, but by the time you get there you may just be bushed.
Avoid the pervasive thistles and burrs by staying to the game trails as much as possible. You will need to look up from your GPS unit from time to time. The cache is contained in a camouflaged capsule. While too small for most Travel Bugs, the cache container holds a write-in-rain logbook, a ballpoint pen, and can accommodate several small trade items and most geocoins.
Some stealth may be required, depending on the season, as the cache area can be partially visible from the main paved trail through the park. Please sign the log book while you are there. This geocache log is periodically verified, and any website cache log entries without a corresponding entry in the physical log will be deleted.
