This cache is for the 11th in the series and can be found near St. Patrick's; the parish church of Jurby. The parish is largely agricultural on the north-north-western coast of the island but also has an industrial park on the old Jurby Airfield. It is home to the Isle of Man's new prison, which opened in Summer 2008. Jurby Airfield was originally used as a Royal Air Force training base in World War II. Part is used as an industrial and retail estate. The old runways and taxiways now form the Jurby motorcycle race track.
Parking is available at the entrance to the track or you can park by the phone box in Jurby West and walk along the road (see coordinates below). Please replace the cache exactly as found, and as usual, WATCH OUT FOR MUGGLES!
Happy caching!
