This quiet preserve with its open meadows of grass lands always relaxes me. People walking dogs or riding horses combined with open space makes for wonderful views.
Known as “The Racetrack” by locals, the Baxter preserve contains a old steeplechase 1 km course around the pond, that course may have only been used once. Open meadows and horse jumps makes for a nice location dog walking, bird watching, or just relaxing. The trails can be muddy at times.
The FTF gets a chance at 500 dollars per week.
