Reservoir on Southern Edge of Dartmoor

The spring was built in 1866 by Mr John Widdicombe of Torre Hill with the consent of Sir W. P. Carew.Bart - Lord of the Manor. For the use of stock depastured on the moor.
This may be the smallest reservoir on Dartmoor.
