A
pleasant walk in the park of BESSA, along a path will lead you to
Località Piagne , also known as Top Terrace of BESSA. The zone
conquered by the Romans (140 ac) became a gold mine in the open,
and the Gold-Panning upset the status of the territory in this very
particular landscape, that we can see today.
The alluvial layer was dug by separating the Gold-Sands by
by pebbly, which were stacked for tens of metres by creating two
different levels: terrace below the debris sandy and gravely while
the top terrace more difficult and less suited to the
settlements, by shingle.
The cache positioned in top terrace, allows you to
admire the terrace below from the top and in a few metres is
visible the bed of the stream, one of the channels through which
streamed the Sands for Gold collection.
The cache is reachable from
two paths:
_ Trail RIVA DEL Ger: easy, flat and
recommended. Path until the cache about 20
minutes.
_Trail ciapei parfundà:
gradients frequent, small woad to cross, suggestive. Path until the
cache about 30 minutes.
