Geocache Description:

A walk along part of the Coastal Path from St. Andrews

This cache has been set for the Lang Spoon Stirs Again Event please do not find or log prior to Friday 3rd April 2009.

Kinkell Cave is situated at the bottom of Kinkell Braes, it is thought to have been used by a hermit and may also have played a part in the smuggling trade of bygone times.

To get to the cache follow the beach from the Maiden Rock cache which will mean climbing over and around rocks, some of which are really slippy. Or you can come in from the other end, near the Rock and Spindle (also rocky!).

From the beach it looks like a huge fireplace.
