Rock Island Trail CITO in Falcon
Agenda:
8:30 AM Meet at coordinates for coffee and doughnuts
9:00 AM Head out on the trail for the CITO
11:00 AM return to the trail head for a raffle and event
prizes
11:30 AM Call it a day and start geocachig
The trail is 9 miles long so groups of cachers will be assigned
to different sections. There are a few different parking options
along highway 24 to walk to the different sections. A mountain bike
would be an efficient way to get it done.
Long pants, long sleeve shirt, and gloves are recommended. Much
of the trash is caught in thick brush near the water areas. Trash
bags will be provided and we will place them in designated spots
for later pick up.
In the event of bad weather we will postpone until the next
