Nothing like tooting my own horn, right? Wrong. I can say it is the best Puzzle cache ever created because I did not create the Puzzle or should I say Puzzle Solving 101 Series.

I love puzzles. I've been a puzzle-head for as long as I can remember. I've got puzzle books and magazines all over my desk at home, in my car, in my computer bag, and in my cubicle at work.
I think puzzle caches are twice as good as traditional caches. You get to experience the excitement of the hunt and the thrill of the find twice - once when you find the real coordinates, and once again when you find the real cache!
Unfortunately, I've discovered that a good number of geocachers out there actively shy away from puzzle caches. Some just don't care for them, but others tell me that they just don't feel like they know how to begin solving them.
Fear not, Gentle Cacher! If you would like to learn how to slay the puzzle dragon, this series of puzzle caches is for you!
I'm certainly not a puzzle expert by any stretch of the imagination - my puzzle books have a lot more unsolved pages in them than solved ones. But I figured that I'd try to share my own experiences with the caching community to see if I could help to demystify that blue question mark.
The first nine caches in this series will help you build your puzzle-solving skills. Each one contains a lesson focusing on a specific skill, examples of how to use that skill, an exercise to test that skill, and a cache to find as a reward. Study the lesson, complete the exercise and you'll find the location of a geocache.

In order to find this cache, it is very simple. Solve Puzzle Solving 101 Lessons 1 - 9 and solve the first six (yes, I said six) puzzles in the Final Exam.

Puzzle Solving 101 – Lesson 5 – Mathematics (GCYXZ5) (Must obtain "exact" answer)
Puzzle Solving 101 – Lesson 6 – Logic Problems (GCYXZ6)
Puzzle Solving 101 – Lesson 7 – Cryptography (GCYXZ7)
Puzzle Solving 101 – Lesson 8 – Steganography (GCYXZ8)
Puzzle Solving 101 – Lesson 9 – Lateral Thinking (GCYXZ9)

Simple right? Well not exactly, but certainly not impossible. Once all 15 puzzles have been solved, you will get a code to obtain the tracking number to the Puzzle Solving 101 Remote Solver TB (TB1RDV7). The code will help you obtain the real coordinates of this cache.

C = last number of code plus 1
D = second number of code
E = sixth to last number of code plus 1
F = sixth number of code minus 1
Who will be FTF, one of the Usual Suspects? The FTF will be given an unactivated FTF coin, an unactivated travel slug and a very special diploma (I will mail everything). Everyone will receive a diploma (via email).
