Cache on the Pendeli mt Quarry Museum, easy level of both terrain and difficulty.
Hey everyone!
Our first cache was put on the North Side of Pendeli mt., quite near the last houses of Dionysos.
A fantastic open-air quarry museum has replaced the old marble quarry – this mountain was famous for its premium quality marble, used on the Parthenon. This open-air museum is a plesure to walk through and it inspired our cache.
An extra bonus for one’s hike might be the three little churches of St Lucas, Nikitas and Pr. Elias at the end of your walk. There are signs which lead you there.
To get to the cache, one should follow the ring path from either direction, from the N38 05.524’ – E023 52.373’ or from the N38 05.574’ – E023 52.251’. Until there you can take the dirt road either using your car or on foot.
