Geocache Description:

This cache is not located anywhere special... Other than the fact that the night before I hid this, on January 23 2009, this was the epicenter of a minor 3.4 earthquake.

A 3.4 quake is not that big, but it was pretty close to home (about 3 miles) and it shook pretty nicely here, and today I hid this cache.

The cache is nothing special.  The hide is nothing special.   The location is pretty cool, right by Venice Beach, but the cache spot is nothing special, other than the Epicenter of this earthquake.   The only thing special, is that I hid this to raise awareness of Earthquakes.

Those cachers who live nearby may have felt it.  As a matter of fact, here's the "Shake Map" where this quake was felt:

The reception is a little spotty, so the hint will be a spoiler.  Use it if you need it.
