#3 in the "Stump" series...the big old stump has been bulldozed....so the cache was moved (just a little bit west with updated co-ords) on September 18, 2011...nearer to a really tall & large stump...and upgraded to a TB Hotel!
Every once in awhile I drive this road home when the freeway is crowded & backed-up and I think to myself, "I need to put some caches along The Old Road".....so I did! You're looking for a large cammo'd pretzel container.
Be sure to re-cammo the cache really well using all the natural material in the area (because the trail here gets used).
This area becomes particularly busy in the Fall & Winter seasons because it becomes a pumpkin patch...and then a Christmas tree farm! So be smart...and a little stealthy...and a bit discreet...there are lots of people, cars, and curious spying eyes during those busy seasons. Easy access on & off the freeway between the Calgrove and Lyons Avenue exits...(the cache is located along The Old Road)...and there's lots of shops, restaurants, and services nearby. As always, if you take something, leave something...and.....................
