Quelques caches pour vous faire connaître Saint Gaudens, sous-préfecture et capitale du Comminges.
Un petit coin sans prétention, juste pour faire un petit coucou aux vestiges du cloître de notre chère Abbaye de Bonnefont: les colonnes géminées sont venues se promener ici, et y sont restées, pour notre plaisir. (Pas comme d’autres colonnes du cloître, qui sont parties un peu plus loin, à New York !)
Tant que vous vous promenez dans ce jardin public, allez donc dire bonjour à Eugène Azémar et profitez en pour lire les renseignements sur sa vie. Ils concernent la cache : Le circuit du Comminges, que vous trouverez non loin d’ici.
Vos enfants peuvent essayer les jeux qui sont là pour eux.
Vous pouvez aussi pousser la porte de la Chapelle St Jacques, aménagée en Galerie d’Art Contemporain (depuis 1992) et ouverte du mercredi au samedi, de 14h à 18h.
Cette chapelle date du 17ème siècle et fut la Chapelle de la Congrégation des religieuses de Notre-Dame de Nevers jusqu’à 1886, puis fut désaffectée.
24 Août 2011 : nous remplaçons la cache pour la troisième fois. S'il-vous-plaît, pour une discrétion maximum, prenez spoiler et indice. Merci pour vos efforts ! :-)
7 Août 2013 : la cache aura quand même tenu 2 ans ! Comment de temps cette fois ci ? :-)))

A few caches to show you Saint-Gaudens, a sub-prefecture and capital city of Comminges.
A little unpretentious spot, just to say “hello” to the remains of the cloister of our dear Bonnefont Abbey : the twin columns have come and stayed there, for our pleasure. (Not like other columns of the cloister, that went a little farther, to New York!)
While you’re strolling in this public park, you can greet Eugène Azémar and take the opportunity to read the information about his life. It concerns cache: Le circuit du Comminges, that you will find not far from there.
Your children can try the games that they will find there.
You can also push the door of St James’ s Chapel, turned into a Gallery of Contemporary Art (since 1992) and open from Wednesday to Saturday, from 2 p.m to 6 p.m.
This Chapel dates back from the 17th century and was the Chapel of the Congregation of Notre-Dame de Nevers nuns until 1886, then it was deconsecrated.
24th August, 2011: we replace the cache for the third time. Please, for maximum discretion, take spoiler and hint. Thank you for your efforts! ;-)
7 August, 2013: the cache will have resisted 2 years, not bad! How long this time? :-)))
