Geocache Description:

After sailing until the waterways started to freeze, they found a well suited place for their winter camp. Well protected with hills to the east, and the meadows to the west would provide a hunting ground for food, clothing, fuel, tools and weapons. Dry Docks were erected and the ships were moored for the winter. Firewood was cut, Shelters were built, and all preparations were made for the long winter ahead. In the spring they would set sail for a place the natives called Kensington. IN 1492 COLUMBUS SAILED THE OCEAN BLUE. BUT KNUTSON TOOK THE ROYAL KNORR 130 YEARS BEFORE!
