Depuis la colline dite de La Bordasse (du mot occitan
signifiant "là où il y a une grande borde") vous aurez une très
bonne vue sur les ruines situées plus bas du Château de Montbrun Le
Vieux, datant XVIe (celui-ci est interdit d'accès pour cause de
vétusté). Le chemin de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle (GR 653),
emprunté autrefois par les pélerins, passe en contrebas de
celui-ci. En levant les yeux on peut également aperçevoir le
village Montbrun-Lauraget et son moulin perché sur la colline d'en
face.
Le site de la cache est une ancienne ferme où nulle route ne mène
et où règne un drôle de bric-à-brac. Vous trouverez même un puits
en cherchant bien (sans protection, attention aux enfants en bas
âge !).
La cache est une boîte plastique de 20x30 cm environ.

From the hill of "La Bordasse" (occitan language for "where lays a
shed") you will enjoy a nice view over the ruins of the Castle of
Montbrun Le Vieux (16th century) located beneath (access to the
castle is forbidden due to its decayed state). The way of St. James
(or more technically, GR653), once used by pilgrims, is running
just in front of it.
Raising your head, you may also find the village of
Montbrun-Lauragais and its wind-mill on the hill in front of
you.
The site of the cache is what appears to be an old farm where no
road is leading to and made up of all sorts of odds and ends. You
may also find a well but take care with small children as it is
unprotected !
The cache is a plastic box of 20x30 cm approximately.
