An easy find and a well-stocked box for the 30th cache we have
set……………
We felt that this was a little milestone and wanted to do something
slightly different, so were delighted to realise that our recent
200th find gave us the opportunity to set up a “chick” cache.
“Barry and Shirley” devised GC1G725 The Mother
Nest & York TB Hotel
in Shipton, North Yorkshire.
This mother nest contains micros (chicks) ready to be hidden
elsewhere, and we adopted one of those chicks on our recent UK
visit and brought it home with us to Cyprus.
The Cyprus sunshine and food has obviously worked it’s magic as the
chick has now grown from a micro to a regular, and is ready to
start it’s own life as a fully fledged cache.
We’ve placed it on a pretty nature trail which winds it’s way from
the Sanctuary of Apollon Ylatis, past the beautifully restored
ancient stadium and on to a viewpoint with breathtaking views of
Curium Beach and Episkopi Bay.
Park in the Sanctuary car park, and the cache is only 250 metres
away – but do carry on walking to the viewpoint, you won’t be
disappointed.
