The 6th Annual Clarksville or Cacheville Event will take place at
the Clarksville Jr High Cafeteria from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on
Saturday April 18, 2009. Rain or Shine the Event
will go on as scheduled!!!
Some of the planned activities will be:
- Historical Cache Poker Run
- Kid's Cache
- Camouflage Cache Contest
- Geo-Bingo
- Temporary Caches Demonstrating Difficulty 1-5
- "You Might Be A Geocacher If..." Contest
- Travelbug and Geocoin Discover and/or Swap
LUNCH - The Little Mulberry4-H club will be on hand to serve lunch
(11:30 - 1:00) if you would like to purchase one for their fund
raising event. If not, there are several restaurants close by. The
menu will be baked chicken, pinto beans, twice
baked potatoes, dessert, cornbread and a drink . The cost
will be $6.00 for the full meal or $4.00 for a bowl of beans,
cornbread, dessert and drink. All of the money that is made will go
back to the Little Mulberry (Oark) 4-H Club. The sponsor of the
club is fellow geocacher, crzy4mopars, AKA Sandy Allen.
Dogs are not allowed on the school grounds, so we ask that you
please leave your pets at home.
If you have travel bugs or coins to trade or share, drop them into
the event and email the tracking numbers to: bluesybreeze at
cyanblu2002@yahoo.com We'll have a list printed out so
everyone can discover them if they wish.
In the tradition of Jeff Foxworthy, we are having a "You Might Be
A Geocacher If..." contest. Send in your quote. You can email it to
bluesybreeze at cyanblu2002@yahoo.com. Or you can bring it
(typed or written) the day of the event.
Example:
"You Might Be a Geocacher If ...your Wal-mart shopping list looks
like this -
- toilet paper
- gallon of milk
- Tram-Law skirt lifter #2012
- carton of eggs."
Please indicate how many will be in your party
when you post a "will attend" and if you will be eating lunch on
site and how many.
