Kätkö sijaitsee UKK-kansallispuiston portin tuntumassa ja Kiilopää tunturin (546,4m) juuressa.
Kätkö on helposti löydettävissä jos vain pääsee itse paikan päälle. Tosi geoliikkujat tulevat sinne jalkaisin, pyöräillen tai hiihtäen. Kätkössä on 2 kynää ja vihko. Itse kätkö on pakasterasia. Se on etsittävissä niin kesäisin kuin talvisin.
Suomen Latu Kiilopää
Suomen Latu ry:n omistama Suomen Latu Kiilopää (www.kiilopaa.fi) perustettiin vuonna 1964. Suomen Ladun silloinen toiminnanjohtaja Immo Sorjonen löysi kahden tunturin kainalosta mainion paikan retkeilytukikohdalle ja pian paikalle siirrettiin kämppä päärakennukseksi. Siitä alkoi Kiilopään kehittyminen nykyaikaiseksi retkeilykeskukseksi.
Suomen Ladun yksi jäsenyhdistys on Geoliikkujat ry ja Suomen Latu keskusjärjestönä edistää omassa toiminnassaan ja muiden jäsenyhdistysten välityksellä geokätköilyä Suomessa.
ENG: Suomen Latu Kiilopää
The Cache is located in the Fell Centre Kiilopää which is at the foot of the Kiilopää Fell (546,4 m) and right by the Urho Kekkonen National Park. The 190-kilometre long hiking and cross-country skiing trail network departs from the courtyard. I hope you coming to the Cache using rather your own legs than car.
The Cache includes notebook + 2X pencil. The Cache itself is a plastic box and you are able finding it quite easy during the whole year.
Fell Center Kiilopää
Fell Centre Kiilopää (www.kiilopaa.fi) was established in 1964. Already back then, the mission was to attract people to engage in outdoor sports throughout the year, thereby maintaining a good physical condition.

La cache est située à Suomen Latu Kiilopää, aux portes de parc national d´UKK ( Urho Kaleva Kekkonen) et au pied du mont Kiilopää ( 546,5 m). Un réseau de 190 km de sentiers et pistes pour la randonnée pédestre et le ski de fond commence aux portes de ce centre. Le centre a une politique de réduction de son impact sur son environnement et nous espérons que vous utiliserez plus vos pieds que votre voiture.
La cache inclus un bloc-note et des crayons.La cache est une boite en plastique qu´il est facile de trouver de toute au long de l´année.
Suomen LATU Kiilopää ( www.kiilopaa.fi) a été fondé en 1964. Sa mission a toujours été de promouvoir les activités sportives et de plein air pour permettre aux gens d´avoir ou de retrouver une bonne condition physique et d´apprécier et de respecter la nature.
