This one is not very far off the trail [:)] and is a clasic Turtle hide.
THE THIRTEEN CACHES ON CHRISTMAS
I had been thinking of placing a series of caches in this part of The Cockaponset State forest for some time. What better time of the year to share some new caches with my geocaching friends, and some smiley faces too.
The entire Chatfield Trail is about 4.3 miles long, but this walk goes only to Champlin Road, a gravel road that crosses the trail less than 2 miles from the start. There is a parking area on Champlin Rd as well as Rt. 80.
There will be a 13th cache so don’t forget to get the hint for the lucky 13th cache. Look on the back of the log books for the needed information.
Enjoy life and your pursuit of happiness.
Thanks to SCCC (SouthCentral Connecticut Cachers) Snowball’s-Keeper, Turtle, CTBluebird, GOJim, Devillo, wing-it and an honorable mention of Jashounds who relocated his Pine View Hollow cache.
