PLEASE SEEK THIS OUT AS A NIGHT CACHE
This puzzle cache has been created to commemorate Muchado's
2,500th
geocache
find and to show appreciation for his establishment and maintenance
of a
Shakespeare-themed series of caches
; which includes 38 initial caches and one final.
This cache is set up in two stages, and is located nearby
the
"Twelfth Night or What You Will" (GCZF3A)
cache (also a night cache). Both caches are located in an area,
known as
Bragdon Farms
in
Amherst,
N.H.
To find "An Evening with Shakespeare", follow the waypoints I
have included below to the stated coordinates. This "bread-crumb"
trail will keep you out in open fields for much of the way to WP1.
Once you are standing at the posted coordinates, you should see
some fire tacks off in the distance. The coordinates for the final
stage are located in the match safe there, but are encrypted using
the answers from the questions below. Simply substitute the numbers
attained from the questions to the letters found at WP1. When you
solve the clue from WP1, go to those coordinates and look again for
fire tacks off in the distance. Note that even though there are 26
answers total ("A" through "Z"), you
won't need them all. Obviously however, you won't know which ones
you will need, so bring them all.
If you haven't done Twelfth Night, I would suggest you start with
that one first, which should take you about 2-hours to complete (if
you are relatively proficient with a compass). If you're really
geo-savvy, you can break off at one point and do "An Evening with
Shakespeare" and then continue Twelfth Night, but this might prove
more confusing than it's worth.

The cache is Winter-friendly. Please do not post anything about the
cache with your logs that could be construed as "spoiler"
information - make it like an FTF for the next cacher. It is a log
only cache, so no trade items or travel bugs please. The "treasure"
on this one is simply finding it in the
dark.
Please prepare for a nighttime cache with appropriate caution and
be respectful of neighbors as you enter the conservation area.
Don't shine your lights toward their property, and keep the noise
down so as not to disturb them. There is ample off-street parking
for several cars. The trailhead starts to the left of the parking
lot and quickly wraps around, heading uphill at a pretty steep
grade for a bit (don't forget it used to be an old ski hill). On
your way out, you might also want to check out
"Just Had To"
(GC1098J)
as a bit of a nightcap.
