However, I would also add the following:-
In one ambiguous case take the earliest one and discount any "specials". In the other potentially ambiguous case take the later one.
Although it may look hard and confusing, this is a puzzle where you could well get the key insight within a minute or two! (this sentence contains no clues)
OFFSET: I had to move the cache a few metres. To get the final GZ take 0.014 minutes from the Northing and do the same to the Westing!
