Small sized plastic container in camo bag.
A celebratory cache to mark the momentous occasions of Buddboy12's 30th Birthday present - a day of white water rafting.
This was the third occasion we had travelled up to South Wales in order to raft - the two previous times the river had been too low :(
Therefore we have been 'praying* for rain' for the past few weeks in the hope that lots of rain would mean we could finally get on the river!
So - this weekend we turned up and it appears that all our praying* worked...we finally got to go rafting and had a great time! As a result we felt that we just had to lay a cache!
A fairly easy traditional cache. It is located next the the River Wye (the river on which we rafted) just off Offa's Dykes Path. This is a short 10 min walk from the beautiful town of Hay-on-Wye (that place really needs a bookshop or two more!) Parking is readily available about the town.
Please be careful whenever you're near a river and the associated risks. Please also be careful when looking for the cache as you may have to venture off the path slightly.
*praying - involved lots of drinking beer and talking about the weather.
Congratulations to 'gromitfromhay' for FTF!!!!!
