Geocache Description:

Did you like the routes on mountains. Parnitha is the most beautiful mountain near our capital, Athens.

Although the fires of the last year there are yet very nice places to visit. One of them is the unknown place of Agia Marina.
It is located near the village of Avlona. The first part is an asfalt road (until the coordinates 38 13,857N, 23 40,435E) then you continue in an easy dirty road until the parking area (38 13,218N, 23 38,736E).
From that point you have to walk in a well signed path with red spots for a half an hour. The distance is about 1300m in an easy path.
The path ends at the church of Agia Marina. Behind the church there is a cave where probably was take place a found.
The cache is placed at the end of the path.
We wish you to have an easy found as the purpose of this cache is not the find but the opportunity to visit a nice unknown place near Athens.
