Terrain is a 2 because the only parking is along side the road which is Daniel Webster Rte 3, A BUSY ROAD and truck route. A little hill up to the boulder with the historical marker. Formerly a virtual that was archived, I contacted Gold Rush to see about an actual cache placement. "Go for it" was the reply:-)
The archived cache was "Call" me Whitey marking the site where the first white settler of Franklin, Philip Call, built his cabin (no longer there). The spot is marked by a boulder with a plaque. His wife, Sarah Trussel, was killed by the Indians Aug 15, 1754.
I enjoy historical caches that bring us to places we might never otherwise discover. I try to imagine this area 250 years ago. Think of our modernization since then but this area still has the country air smell Thus, I filled the little cache with lots of tiny cows
This is NOT winter friendly for parking or finding the cache so enjoy for a 3 season find
