Placed in Thornwald Park
This cache is located in Thornwald Park. The name of this cache comes from the old mansion within the park. Some 40-odd years ago, the elderly lived in the mansion, not the newer nursing care facility built in the early 1970's. My Mother was Director of Nursing back then. She told me the old mansion required a TON OF COAL A DAY to run the boilers in the winter.....hence the name of the cache.
I remember visiting an old retired pastor there around 1970 - the Reverend Ely. He told me a story of how he was pulled over for speeding - but didn't have his driver's license with him. When the police asked to see his license (he was wearing his preacher garb with collar) he told the police he had his license in his bible. They let him go and didn't write him up for speeding - only his license really wasn't in the bible.
PLEASE - replace the cache exactly as you found it.
Within a few feet of GZ - you can get a fairly good view of the mansion.
Remember to bring your own pen - and to mark your coordinates back to your car.
