This is a remote location and you will be lucky to meet anyone in the area. Whichever route you choose to take, it will involve a fantastic, varied journey culminating in a spectacular GZ cache location. The cache is a large camo' covered container.
There are about three recognised starting points to this cache, all of which have interest and variety in abundance.
Maeshafn------Walking through Big Covert Woods.
Llanferres------Walking across the River Alyn.
Eryrys-----------Walking across hilltops and valleys.
And if you know the area well you can get even closer to park but i'm not telling you where!!!!
The location of this cache is a challenge as getting to the exact location will be made easier or harder depending on you choosing the best route as many paths abound but few will go directly to where you want. The final few metres will vex and strain but rely on your co-ordinates and you will succeed-----------possibly!!!!
To add even further interest to your journey why not take some time to look down inside the now disused Burley Hill Quarry which lies to the North of the cache. A great viewpoint can be found on the southern side in the Big Covert Woods but be careful as a large section of the path has disappeared in a recent landslide into the quarry.
