Geocache Description:

Located on an island on a bueatiful remote lake in North Western Ontario. It is a summer friendly (by canoe/airplane) and winter friendly (by snowmobile).

There is a private road near the cache site (on main land) but it is a private road with no public access. This cache will take quite a bit of work to get to, as far as canoing but it is a great area! The nearby island is cleared for camping mostly by the hard work of Larry Gamache.
The times that I have canoed in I have left from Crow Lake portaged into Cedar Tree, then to Flint, then to Stephen and Cameron. It's really a great trek but will take a few days by canoe. I have never been out there by snowmobile but people go all over the place on them out here. I'd love to hear if it's accessable by snowmobile. The cache itself is off the ground so it should be winter friendly.
