Geocache Description:

HOME STRETCH is a companion cache to BUG CIRCLE and LOST BALL the first hides for the MINNSTARS team in celebration of our 100th find made in just one month of caching. All these caches are a short distance from each other along the Rice Marsh Lake Trail system in Chanhassen.

WunderCacherGirl calls this section of the Rice Marsh Lake Trail “HOME STRETCH”, in reference to this being the home stretch on our summer bike rides through this area.

DIRECTIONS: The best approach is to use the Chanhassen Park parking lot at the end of ERIE CIRCLE. This is a tiny little park buried deep in this neighborhood and a little tricky to find. Just take DAKOTA AVE. south off HWY 5 by the McDonald’s on the east end of Chanhassen. Then left on CHEYENNE AVE. and left again onto DAKOTA LN. Another quick left onto ERIE CIRCLE. The entrance to the park looks like a driveway at the end of the cul-de-sac.

Congratulations to Smiling Duo for scoring the FTF. Thanks to everyone who came out in the rain to try an FTF on our first 3 hides. Blame Suffer Joe for the weather, as I tried to get these approved the day before and he made me fix a couple nits. (;-)
