Parking Fee for Stone Mountain Park:
FREE for those walking, biking or hiking into the park
$15 for single car/single day entry into park during non-holiday hours
$20 for single car/single day entry into park during holiday hours
$40 for Yearly Pass

This cache is placed with permission. Parking available on Stonewall Jackson Drive inside of Stone Mountain Park. You will need to walk from there. The provided coordinates will bring you to a parking lot at the Hilltop Pavilion. You will be in walking distance of the GZ. In order to get the final location, you must meet the requirements of the challenge.

Who’s ready to go back to school? This is a challenge cache that is being placed on the first day of fall to celebrate school days. This is a Georgia Challenge Cache. Which means you may have to travel around the state of Georgia to complete the requirements.
There are 26 letters in the alphabet, right? There are 10 numerals, from which all other numbers are comprised, right? O.K. – So, from there, your task is to hunt caches until you have found 36 caches total, among which there is a cache title starting with each of the 26 letters of the alphabet and each numeral from 0 to 9. Did I mention that the container is a HUGE ammo can?

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Post a note on the cache page stating that you are accepting the challenge.
2. Find a total of 36 caches in Georgia (United States) only - A through Z and 0 through 9.
(All caches hidden before 9/22/08.
The number "0" can be a cache hidden before 8/9/2018).
3. Verify your finds by using the Project-GC Challenge Checker.
4. Send a screenshot/picture of the COMPLETED STATUS to the CO via geo-messenger.
5. Find the hidden cache for Back to School in Georgia Challenge and post FOUND IT log.


Pictures and stories of your adventures while meeting the requirements and
finding the final are always welcome.


If the requirements are not met:
1. Starting from the adoption date of 8/13/18, logs that do not qualify will be deleted.
2. If a FOUND IT log is posted without a COMPLETION STATUS email being sent, the post will be deleted.


The Fine Print:
1. Post a note on the cache page stating that you are accepting the challenge. This makes the CO aware that another challenger is working on it.
2. The difficulty is rated a 5 due to the traveling that may be required.
3. The terrain is based on the current placement of the final cache.
4. Breakdown of the 36 caches:
----> 26 caches = starts with the letters A through N and P through Z and is hidden before 9/22/2008
----> 9 caches = starts with the numbers 1 through 9 and is hidden before 9/22/2008
----> 1 cache = starts with the number 0 and is hidden before 8/9/2018 .
5. Only logged FINDS IN GEORGIA (UNITED STATES) will count.
6. You cannot be the owner of any caches you find.
7. The words “A” and “The” should not be counted if they are the first word of the cache title. If that is the case, the first letter of the second word will count.
8. At this moment (8/14/2018), all caches hidden before 9/22/2008 are ACTIVE. The only exception is the number 0. The Project-GC Challenge Checker has been adjusted for this.
9. Note that the Project-GC has a delay of about 24 - 36 hours. Meaning, that if you run the checker the same day you make a find, it will not show up in the checker. You will need allow for the checker to sync.
10. When you receive the completion status, be sure to scroll through the log it provides. You may spot some information you are needing.
11. Please do not ask the CO about available caches - that is part of YOUR challenge.
12. Geocaching.com, the Geocaching app, iCachly and Project-GC provide tools to help you though out this journey. One of those is the ability to create a list and queries from that list. These are helpful with using the map features.
