EN: This earthcache leads you to the unique mineralogical location. 
It is the largest Li-pegmatite body in the Czech republic. It's length is 1 km and it is 35 m wide. It consists of the coarse-grained light rock. This rock occurs in dykes and clasts. This locality is also unique, because the pegmatite is enriched by lithium – it is the example of the lithium mineralization. In 1792 lepidolite was described here. This mineral belongs to the group of micas. It's colour is pink, green or violet. We can distinguish it thanks to perfect cleavability and pearly luster. You can also find elbaite here. This mineral belongs to the group of tourmalines. It has several color varieties – pink rubellite, blue indigolite or green verdelite. The color can vary even in one single crystal. You can find also other minerals here: albite, quarz, topaz, beryl, cassiterite, white mica.
The coordinates leads you to the former small quarry. It was closed in the end of World War I. Lepidolite was mined here. Later surveys showed it is not profitable anymore.

Log conditions:
- Photograph yourself (or your GPS) on the coordinates and the photo add to the log. The neigbourhood must be on the picture.
- Locate small adit in north direction from starting coordinates (aproximately distance about 50 meters). Measure (or estimate) length of this adit. Mail this length to mail:earthcache@email.cz
- Find any nice mineral and take the picture of this mineral close to your GPS showing your accurate GPS position. Upload this picture to your log and try to write what have you found.
Additional waypoint: N 49°28.839 E 16°14.484 . From here you can se uranium mines in Dolní Rožínka. It is the only place in Czech republic, where uranium is mined. The price of this commodity raises, and so other places will be probably opened.
CZ: Tato earthcache Vas privede na unikatni mineralogickou lokalitu.
Jedna se o Li - pegmatitove teleso, které je nejvetsi v Ceske republice – 1 km dlouhe a 35 m siroke. Teleso je tvorene hrubozrnnou svetlou horninou vyskytujici se vetsinou v podobe zil nebo vlocek. Tato lokalita je unikatni tim, ze je pegmatit nabohacen lithiem a setkavame se zde tedy i s unikatni lithnou mineralizaci. V roce 1792 zde byl poprve popsan lepidolit. Tento mineral patri do skupiny slid. Ma ruzovou, zelenou nebo fialovou barvu. Pozname ho podle dokonale stepnosti a perletoveho lesku. Najdeme ho se zde v podobe drobnych supinek. Dále zde muzeme spatrit elbait. Mineral patrici do turmalinove skupiny. Ma ruzne barevne variety ruzovy rubelit, modry indigolit nebo
zeleny verdelit. Barva se dost casto meni i v ramci jednoho krystalu. Byly zde popsany i další mineraly jako albit, kremen, topaz, beryl, kasiterit. Ve velkem mnozstvi zde najdete muskovit.
Souradnice Vas zavedou do mista dnes jiz nefunkcniho maleho lomu. Naposledy se zde kutalo na konci 1. svetove války. Tezil se zde jiz zmineny lepidolit prave kvuli vyuziti lithia. Pozdejsi pomerne podrobne pruzkumy ukazaly, ze lozisko je dále nerentabilni.
Rada pro hledace: mineraly hledejte i na rozsahlych haldach v okoli! Hodne stesti!

- Vyfotte sebe popripade svou GPS na danych souradnicich a foto prilozte k logu.Musí byt videt okoli!

- Najdete zde nejaky peky mineral a vyfotte jej s vasi GPS tak, aby byly videt aktualni souradnice. Pokuste se mineral urcit.
Pokud se premistite na souradnice N 49°28.839 E 16°14.484 uvidite pred sebou uranove doly v Dolni Rozince. Dnes je to jedine místo v CR, kde se ješte uran tezi. Cena této suroviny stoupa, takze se budou pravdepodobne u nas otevirat další tezebni mista.
