Aquest espai (Mig de Dos Rius) es troba al marge esquerre del riu Fluvià, a 1.5 km de la Gola, dins del Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l’Empordà i davant de l’illa de Caramany, que és una Reserva Integral, dins del terme municipal de Sant Pere Pescador (Alt Empordà).
Es recomana anar-hi al voltant de la sortida i la posta del sol, pel joc de llums i reflexos sobre les aigües del Fluvià i també perquè la vida animal i el cant de les aus s’intensifica:
A la primavera, la floració de les orquídies i l’explosió de verds dels arbres de ribera: freixes, àlbers, pollancres...
A l’estiu, els abellerols, els oriols, els martinets...
A la tardor...el viratge a marró....
A l’hivern la llum baixa al riu...els colors rogencs del sotabosc, els ànecs i corbs marins es concentren al riu...
This espace (Mig de Dos Rius) is on the left bank of the Fluvià river at 1.5 km from La Gola (mouth) inside the Empordà Marshes Natural Park before Caramany island, which is an Integral Reserve. This is inside the district of Sant Pere Pescador, Alt Empordà region.
We recommend the hours around sunrise and sunset, due to the play of ligth and reflections on the water of the Fluvià and because the animal life and bird songs are increased:
In spring the blooming of orchids and the explosion of green from the blooming of riverside trees, ash trees, poplars, black poplars...
In summer, the bee-eaters and golden orioles, and the cattle egret and egrets...
In autumn, the leaves turning brown...
In winter, the light comes down onto the river, the red shoots of the cornel cherries in the undergrowth and the many ducks and sea crows concentrate on the Fluvià river.
