Geocache Description:

New cache coordinates: N 40 00.365 W 074 19.693

A good family-friendly cache for beginners! This is a small park area at the very edge of the Pine Barrens, located right off of Route 70. Just some scattered trees with a handful of picnic tables--more of a rest area than a park, really. Very few Muggles go here, or are even aware of its existence, but it is frequented by NJ State Troopers & Manchester PD as a speed trap.

The cache is called "Event Horizon" because, if you're traveling Route 70 to or from Philadelphia, the route takes you through the Pine Barrens for about 30 miles. Years ago, you could drive for miles without seeing any sign of civilization between the Slot Car Racing Center just a bit up the road & Olga's Diner in Marlton. That's obviously changed a bit over time, but people who have used that route to Philly still refer to it as "The Great Void".

Cache is a small, fake rock located just off the path running into the woods. Since it's such a small container, I couldn't fit a pen, so please bring one. Cache contains:

*Buster Bunny magnet

*2 AA batteries

*Silver dollar

*Small zipper-pull compass

*Logsheet

Happy hunting!
