This is part of My Favorite PWA's series. What is a PWA? A public water access of course. This series lists all of my favorite PWA's where I like to boat, fish and swim. Thanks to the MN DNR for providing these wonderful areas.

O'dowd Lake PWA

I grew up in Shakopee, so I am well acquainted with this lake. The fishing is pretty good on this lake, with sunnies and crappies being my favorite. Summer and winter both offer great fishing opportunites. If your looking to swim, check out the O'dowd Lake Rope Swing.
