Wild Hog Express
Wild Hog Express is the first cache to be hidden in Wilcox County,
Georgia.
Wilcox County was named for Maj. Gen. Mark Wilcox and is known for
having the “prettiest court house” in Georgia. The county seat,
Abbeville, is sometimes called the “Wild Hog Capital of Georgia”
and the “Camellia City of the South”.
One tradition says the community was named for the wife of David
Fitzgerald, who donated land to the county; another says it was
named for Abbeville, SC.
The cache is located on a unit of transportation history that may
have once brought a few folks to the festival Log Only, BYOP
