We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy (cos there aren’t many motorways in Wales!). But what about public transport users? SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick cache-and-dashes at train stations. They should be placed where it will not cause alarm, as in this day and age, public transport is under greater scrutiny than ever before.

Local information and the Cache
Ascott-under-Wychwood lies in the Evenlode valley, Oxfordshire on the south bank of the river Evenlode.
Following the Norman conquest Ascott was granted to the Bishop of Bayeux but when he lost some favour the Manor came into the possession of Roger d'Oyley, the builder of Oxford Castle. The east end of the village is known as Ascott d'Oyley. The Church is late 12th century and includes a modern tapestry of village scenes.
On the green in the centre of the village, a bench around the Chestnut tree is a memorial to the Ascott Martyrs - 16 brave women who suffered brief imprisonment in 1873 during the fight for a minimum wage for agricultural labourers.
The station is unmanned and has just one platform. There is a manned signal box next to the station.
