This special event cache is held in conjunction with
the
GeocoinFest 2008- Pittsburgh
It is designed for the geocaching adventurer and the landlubber
alike.
Arrive by boat, boots or bikes and meet up at Point State Park at
HIGH NOON for a little meet and greet.
Bring your kayak or rent a craft
as we then join together to paddle around “The Point” to see the
city of Pittsburgh and its' three rivers from this unique
perspective.
***Attendees of the
kayaking portion of the event assume all risks and are responsible
for their own safety and gear.***
Event subject to change based on the
safety of river conditions.
There are free publically accessable launches around
the city. I will add waypoints as they become
available.
There may be a fee for parking near these areas.
