The co-ordinates are not for the cache. At these co-ordinates
you will find a signpost for nos AB-CD Hurst Cottages. A short walk
away is a post box no (BN) EF GHIJ. This is located near a hydrant
sign with two numbers one on top and one below.The one on top is K
the one below L. The bus that stops at the nearby stop is No M.The
phone number of the bus company is N and the fax number is P.
The final cache co-ordinates are N = AB.CD.(N-P)*M + FI
W = 0.(K+L)+(N-P)+I.(I+J)*M
(where * =multilply as 2*2=4)
Note
BN is the prefix of the box number required which comprises a set
of two digits followed by four.
Amberley Railway Station
Opened by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway, it
became part of the Southern Railway during the Grouping of 1923.
The station then passed on to the Southern Region of British
Railways on nationalisation in 1948.
When Sectorisation was introduced in the 1980's, the station was
served by Network South East until the Privatisation of British
Railways.
Nearby is the Amberley Working Museum please check web page for
admission fees and content. The museum may no suit all. There a few
eating places and other more difficult caches nearby. Enjoy.
