Au cours d’une promenade tranquille vous découvrirez un site propice au recueillement : un hameau loin du bruit, une chapelle isolée sur un promontoire rocheux et un beau panorama sur la Vallée de la Bienne. Vous marcherez ainsi sur les pas des Pères du Jura : les moines Romain et Lupicin, fondateurs des monastères de Lauconne et Condat, aujourd’hui St-Lupicin et St-Claude.
Les coordonnées indiquées sont celles du parking (voir aussi la carte dans la galerie photo). Il vous faudra trouver 7 indices pour calculer les coordonnées finales. Le parcours est en majeure partie sur un chemin facile, mais les falaises ne sont jamais loin : ne vous écartez pas et surveillez enfants et animaux.

Indice A : Combien de trous dans le banc en pierre ?
Indice B : En traversant le village, cherchez la fontaine et vous trouverez une tête sculptée. Une date est gravée dans la pierre. Notez les 2 derniers chiffres.
Indice C : Trouvez maintenant le four à pain du village. Une date est gravée sur du bois. Elle comporte deux chiffres identiques au milieu. Notez ce chiffre.

Indice D : de quel siècle est datée la chapelle ? A quel siècle vivait St-Romain ? (Attention, ne vous trompez pas dans le calcul des siècles). Faites la soustraction et notez le résultat.
Indice E : depuis le belvédère, combien voyez-vous de ponts métalliques sur la rivière ?
Indice F : Combien la chapelle comporte t’elle de vitraux ? Combien de cloches ? Faites la soustraction et notez le résultat.
WPT3 : N 46°.21.837 – E 005°.44.938 Prenez le sentier qui monte. Au sommet, il débouche sur un chemin large que vous pourrez emprunter au retour.
Indice G : Au carrefour sentier/chemin, quelle est l’altitude indiquée sur le poteau ? Quelle est la différence entre le premier et le dernier chiffre ?
Vérifiez que la somme des indices est égale à 47

When visiting this cache, you will walk on a path, once followed by the "Fathers" of the Jura : the first monks who built the monasteries of Lauconne and Condat, which became later St-Lupicin and St-Claude. The scenery takes place in a quiet village at first ; then a short walk will take you to an isolated chapel on a steep rock ; from there you will enjoy a nice view on the Valley of the "Bienne" River.
The coordinates are those of the parking (see also map in the photo gallery). You will have to answer to 7 questions to find the cache. The way is easy but be careful as it's not far from steep rock edge. Don't wander and watch children and pets.

A : how many holes in the stone bench ?
B : Go to the village, look for the fountain and you’ll see a stone head. A year is engraved on the rock ; take the last two digits for B.
C : Find now the little house with a wood stove for baking bread or pastry. A year is carved in the wood. The same figure (digit) is carved twice : this digit is C.

D : in what century was built the chapel ? in what century did Romain live ? (pay attention when matching a century with a date/year). Make the subtraction ; the result is D.
E : From the point of view you can see the “Bienne“ River : how many iron bridges over the river ?
F : Walk around the the chapel and count how many stained-glass windows ? how many bells ? Make the subtraction ; the result is F.
WPT3 : N 46°.21.837 – E 005°.44.938 Follow the little trail going up. As you reach the top, you can walk on a large path again. This path will take you back to the car once you have found the cache.
G : at the crossroads trail/path, there’s a wooden signpost : what is the altitude reported at the top of the post ? What is the difference between the first and the last digit ? the result is G.
