Not suitable for wheelchairs. Track around the lake at this point is muddy so advise appropriate footware.
This cache was placed to encourage cachers to enjoy the walk around the lake area of St Sever and to take in the nature and the sights of the area. While we were walking the route we could hear constant sounds of birds and insects alike. The peaceful walk should ideally be taken in with "Motte and Lake", and of course, with some castles there would be a SEIGE, hence the name for this cache.
We ask you to enjoy the walk and to take in some of the history of the area that can be found on information boards located around the forest.

Ne convient pas aux fauteuils roulants. Le chemin autour du lac, à cet endroit, est boueux. Prévoyez donc des chaussures appropriées.
Cette cache a été placée pour encourager les géocacheurs à faire une belle promenade autour du lac de St Sever et à profiter de la nature et des belles vues de la région. Alors que nous marchions, nous pouvions entendre constamment des bruits similaires à ceux des oiseaux et des insectes. La marche paisible devrait être l’occasion d’observer la "Motte et le lac", et bien sûr, quelques châteaux où il y eu un siège, d'où le nom de cette cache.
Nous vous conseillons de profiter de la promenade et d’en apprendre plus sur l’histoire de la région à l’aide des panneaux d'information situés aux alentours de la forêt.
