A bike friendly cache
A simple cache to encourage you to break out the bike and explore
the area. Most cachers who will hunt this cache have driven within
a few hundred feet, but probably never noticed the the bridge above
their head never has any cars on it!
This is one of the old access roads to the former Pease Air Force
Base. It is now one of few pedestrian paths across the Spaulding
Turnpike. This is a very busy bike path, so you may need to be
patient during commuting hours. You will probably look a little bit
odd if you are searching for these caches without a bike, but it
isn't necessary. I think we are all used to looking a bit odd
anyway. See the additional waypoints for the entrances to the bike
path. Parking is on your own, there are more options on the west
side then the east.
YOU CAN NOT REACH THIS CACHE FROM RT 16 OR RT 95, SO DON'T
EVEN
THINK ABOUT IT!! The best method to reach this cache is by bike.
See the additional waypoints for the entrances to the bikepath,
these are the only two points that you can search for the caches
from.
