Fregatten Jylland er verdens længste bevarede træskib. Skibet er bygget i 1860 og deltog meget aktivt i slaget ved Helgoland 1864. Skibet er et af de få træskibe udstyret med både fuldkraftdampmaskine og komplet sejlføring.
Fregatten ligger nu i tørdok og er museum.
Cachen er placeret, så skibet fremtræder smukt for beskueren.

The frigate ”Jutland” is the longest still existing wooden ship in the world. The ship was built in 1860 and was very active in the victorious battle at Helgoland in 1864.The ship is unusual as a wooden ship equipped with both a full-power steam engine and a full sail bearing.
The frigate is at present dry-docked and is a museum.
The cache is placed, where you can have s fine look at the ship.
This cache gives one of four hints necessary for finding the cache “Ebeltoft rundt” (Ebeltoft Tour).
To solve “Ebeltoft rundt” you must write down the number in top of the logbooks for the 4 caches:
- Ebeltoft mølle (Ebeltoft mill)
- Det gamle rådhus (the old town hall)
- Ebeltoft kirke (Ebeltoft church)
- Fregatten (the frigate)
If you find these 4 and remember the numbers, you can find “Ebeltoft rundt”. You may also find these caches separately like normal geocaches, without having to find them all. If you are walking, the order mentioned gives the easiest tour, but there is not far anyway.
