This cache was
placed as a part of the Great Eastlink Geocache Project. The
Project involved 25 Geocaching Teams from the Eastern Suburbs of
Melbourne who combined their efforts in July 2008 to create the
largest cache series in Australia in which each cache in the series
is individually owned by one team.
Where the
cache isn't.
This cache isn’t at the slanty green spire which you can find at
S37° 52.365, E145° 12.500 – it’s a nice spot for a cache
though isn’t it? Especially at night! Our cache is instead situated
in a nearby park called Nortons Park. So why then the
reference to the slanty green spire? Well if you really want to
know then just ask Team Crackers and they should humbly tell you
all about it.
About Nortons
Park.
Nortons Park is part of a chain of parks in the Dandenong Valley
which boasts rolling grassed lawns that give the park a definite
European feel.
The land was once an orchard, and still contains a number of
remnant fruit trees that burst into bloom in springtime. It is a
great place to picnic with friends or, for the more energetic, work
out on the cross country running track.
The

At the posted co-ordinates you will need to find the fragmented
clues for the missing decimals that will complete the co-ordinates
for the cache.
The cache is located at:
